As its name suggests, the Stage is primarily a live music venue. But with 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space—including a bar, New Orleans-inspired decor, and state-of-the-art acoustics—the Stage can also host a variety of corporate and private events.
Owners Carlos Garcia and Sasha Torres, who both have media production backgrounds, envision the Stage hosting album-release parties, art exhibitions, fashion shows, product launches, and corporate happy hours.
During the day, the venue is often used as rehearsal space for local or touring artists, and on Thursday through Sunday nights, it is open to the public for live performances and screenings. The venue is available for private events at any time upon request.
The 3,200 square feet inside and 7,000 square feet outside can accommodate a total of 1,000 guests. The courtyard can seat 500, and an additional 250 can be seated indoors.
The interior—which features cozy couches, coffee tables, and local art hanging on exposed brick walls—was designed by Miami-based Andrea Mejia to evoke the jazz clubs of New Orleans, where co-owner Garcia lives part time.
That influence extends to the bar menu, which includes bourbon milk punch and mint juleps. Catering can be arranged by the Stage, or clients may bring in their own vendors. Food is also available from food trucks, such as Gastropod, that park outside the venue periodically.
