Thursday, Spa V at the Hotel Victor holds its opening party tonight at the hotel. In-house executive chef James Wierzelewski will prepare hors d'oeuvres, and popular drag queen Elaine Lancaster will make a special appearance…Parc Lofts and Urbana magazine present the screening of the short film Vanity tonight at the Parc Lofts development in the Miami performing arts district. After the screening, an empty Parc penthouse will house an after-party to celebrate the building's completion. Other lofts, furnished by Abitare and Fendi for the event, will be open for guests to preview. The Agency will provide decor, DJ Sean Drake from the Pawn Shop will spin, Casa Tua will cater, and Dewars 12 will pour complimentary cocktails…Also scheduled tonight is the opening reception of the exhibit "Amazing Grace" by Kenyan artist Wangechi Mutu at the Miami Art Museum
On Friday, the Vince Carter Charity Gala is July 22 at the Daytona Beach Ocean Center. It will be followed by a golf classic July 24 at LPGA International that includes a luncheon catered by Carrabba's Italian Grill.
