More than 100 classic American sports cars descended on St. Augustine at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village on June 14. The 10th annual "Vettes at the Village" showcased pristine Corvette models from 1953 to 2008, parked right outside the newly remodeled resort. The North Florida Corvette Association and Corvette Club of Mandarin sponsored event, was open to the public and featured a hole-in-one contest where the individual who sunk a shot in the resort's replica of the infamous 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass walked away the owner of a new Corvette. In the end however, none of the participants were successful.
