VENUE: Latin Spice at Noche

Noche, the eagerly-anticipated Latin restaurant from Windows on the World owner David Emil, is a monstrous, 18,000-square-foot, four-story Midtown space. It combines the technical amenities of a nightclub—like a great sound system, cool lighting and a dance floor—with the culinary wizardry of former Windows executive chef Michael Lomonaco and master sommelier Andrea Immer. Designed by the Rockwell Group, the first floor bar is filled with hot red, orange and pink lights that contrast a cool blue curtain that towers above the dance floor. The second and third floor balconies overlook the first floor, and feature white banquette seats and colorful backlit wall panels. The fourth floor, which can be used as a private room, features a more conservative decor scheme with warm, golden walls and curtains, white panels of fabric suspended from the ceiling and a small outdoor patio.
