VENUE: Midtown Gets a Jimmy's

The third and southernmost installment in Jimmy Rodriguez's restaurant empire—his other two restaurants are in Harlem and the Bronx—is his swank Midtown outpost Jimmy's Downtown, where the suave, superfriendly impresario is serving up tasty Latin cuisine in a modern atmosphere. Designed by architect Ilan Waisbrod, the space has a red and white color scheme, with a 100-foot bar and low booths and cube seats in the lounge.
