VENUE: Bright White Architecture Center

The Center for Architecture is full of bare white space and an abundance of natural light. The new Greenwich Village home of the New York chapter of the American Institute of Architects and the New York Foundation for Architecture—which opened yesterday—offers three levels of event space. The street level lobby features large windows, and overlooks a small gallery on the mezzanine level located one level below ground. Two levels below ground is a light-filled, state-of-the-art lecture hall. The entire space can hold 400 for receptions. —Mark Mavrigian
