The Morrell family name is synonymous with wine thanks to the clan's bustling Rockefeller Center store and wine bar. Morrells, the family's new full-scale restaurant in the Flatiron district, offers vino-inspired New American cuisine from chef Michael Haimowitz, formerly of the uptown Morrell Wine Bar & Cafe. Designed by Larry Bogdanow, the restaurant has a soothing, all-white interior with butter-soft leather banquettes and recessed orange lighting. A 900-square-foot private room (shown here) in the basement level of the restaurant can seat 60 or hold 100 for receptions. —Suzanne Ito
