VENUE: Tribeca's Inner Sanctum

Just in time for an invasion of Champagne-swilling models in town for Fashion Week, the Tribeca Grand Hotel opened Sanctum, a lounge adjacent to the hotel's recently renovated Church Lounge. Designed by William Sofield, Sanctum features muted blue-gray and cream-colored seats and armless couches and gold, asterisk-shaped chandeliers. Sanctum also doubles as a performance space, equipped with a full stage and audiovisual amenities. It can seat 60 or hold 100 for a reception. —Suzanne Ito (Photo by Laura Resen)
