ACTIVITY: Spin a Yarn

Relieve stress in a fun and creative way with a party at Knit New York—a unique East Village coffee cafe and knitting shop. Help a group take advantage of the social nature of knitting while enjoying sandwiches and pastries. The light and airy shop comfortably accommodates classes for as many as 16. Instructors can come to events at a cost of $65 per person for two-hour classes, plus a materials fee of $15 per person. The shop can also coordinate gift bags. —Mark Mavrigian
