The flurry of fall venue openings has come and gone and, although winter is a slower season for debuts, there are still some big projects on the horizon, including a couple of high-profile hotels. Here's what to watch for in the coming months.

1. Trump SoHo New York
The multimillion-dollar hotel project from the Trump Organization has been slowly rising in SoHo and, according to the most recent announcement, will open its doors on February 1. Beyond 391 rooms, the Trump SoHo will house the 190-seat Quattro Gastronomia Italiana, an 11,000-square-foot spa, and three bar and lounge areas. To top it off, SoHi penthouse is available for events of as many as 150, and the third-floor function spaces total more than 10,000 square feet.

2. Ma PĂŞche
Beginning with the tiny but wildly popular Momofuku Noodle Bar in 2004, chef David Chang has since become a recognized name in the culinary world and is set to make an even bigger impact with the opening of this full-size restaurant expected early next year. Inside the Chambers Hotel—where Geoffrey Zakarian's Town once was—Ma Pêche will serve French-Vietnamese fare from chef Tien Ho.

3. Andaz Wall Street
The target opening date for this downtown hotel is January 17. The Andaz, a subsidiary brand of Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, will have 253 loft-style rooms, a restaurant called Wallnut, and a wine bar. For meetings, there's 5,920 square feet of dedicated space at concourse level and on-site audiovisual technicians.

4. Empire Room
Originally scheduled for fall, this cocktail lounge from Hospitality Holdings was pushed back to a late December or early January opening date. Even so, there are no changes to the plans for the spot inside the Empire State Building—the Empire Room will offer 3,500 square feet of space and an Art Deco interior.

5. Provocateur
Brian Gefter and Michael Satsky have been mum about their latest project, which is currently set to open early this month. Despite providing scant details, the owners of this nightlife venue inside the Hotel Gansevoort have revealed that the cost to retool the former Garden of Ono spot was more than $4 million and the plans include a decor-heavy look and a retractable roof.

6. W New York—Downtown
One of the W Hotel brand's latest locations, this much-delayed hotel-condo hybrid is now scheduled to debut on February 4. Just south of where the Freedom Tower will stand, the 217-room hotel will offer four meeting rooms, three of which can be combined to hold as many as 144 for receptions.
