Adam Votaw was recently named executive chef of LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort. In his new post, he will oversee the exotic fare served at BALEENnaples, an ultra-chic waterfront oasis overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. A 1984 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Votaw has already held executive positions at several other venues, ranging from London's Le Gavroche restaurant and Virginia's Le Chardon D'or to highly esteemed Florida locales like the Four Seasons Ocean Grand and Little Palm Island.
