Marbella is a new tapas bar, right off the Vegas strip, slated to open on Thursday. It will offer food and music from Spain, and is located in the former Ruth’s Chris Steak House space on West Flamingo Road. The venue is available for buyout, with a capacity of 479 in 7,000 square feet. A private dining area has room for 80.
Menu offerings include paella and ceviche, as well as personal-size pizzas, gourmet burgers, steaks, and seafood. There are vegan and vegetarian options as well, and the kitchen will source local ingredients whenever possible. An extensive wine selection includes Spanish, Argentinean, Chilean, and Californian varieties, and there are cocktails and signature drinks like sangria, mojitos, caipirinhas, and margaritas, all made with fresh fruit.
Nightly, the space transforms with the feel of an after-hours spot, intended to have a vibe similar to the discotecas on the coast of Spain. There are flamenco dancers, Spanish string bands, and DJs providing entertainment, and late-night bites are also available.
“We're very excited to be opening a new restaurant in this economy,” said co-owner Jamshid Nahreini in a release. “We feel we're filling a niche and at the same time stimulating the local economy and opening up employment opportunities within the city.”
Melanie Bash is the venue's director of special events.
