After a series of soft openings over the last few weeks, Confidential Beverly Hills is now officially open, filling what's largely a void for nightlife in that city apart from hotel bars and lounges. The space comes from owners Solomon Moss and Sasha Poparic, and has a white interior with alligator accents, ample booth space, two bars, four separate lounge areas, LED lights, a top-end sound system, and a large, raised DJ booth. Confidential comprises 6,500 square feet and is available for event buyout with a capacity of 400.
Black padded-leather doors mark the entry to the space, which has the feel of a modern speakeasy. Crystal chandeliers and a white baby grand piano give the space a rich look, which contrasts with a European discotheque-like lounge complete with large booths in a variety of textured leathers and finished cement floors.
The focal point of the main room is a white, U-shaped bar in European stone, flanked by a separate lounge area on either side: one with all-white leather tufted booths and white-tiled walls and the other with all-black, crocodile-like leather tufted couches and ottomans with black-tiled walls. Overlooking the center of the room and the dance floor in the main lounge is a large, elevated DJ booth. There are also two large raised booths of tufted white leather over the dance floor. Each of the four lounges is equipped with LED lighting to allow the entire club to change looks. A second V.I.P. bar is constructed of cheetah-like black marble, and adjacent to it is another lounge area with high tops, booths, and ottomans, all in black textured leathers.
Members of the bar staff are all formally dressed in black tie and vests, and the cocktail servers wear either white chiffon cocktail dresses with vintage pearl necklaces or black gowns with long black gloves designed by Capretto.
