Going on its 58th year, the mega-show grew its attendance by five percent. Billed as the largest in-water boat show worldwide, the event includes 1,500 vessels and 1,000 vendors with three-million square feet of exhibit space spread out over seven locations. Next: November 1-5, 2017

#2 Trade Show, Expo & Convention
For the 46th annual show, management held the show earlier—in September instead of November—to accommodate renovations at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Attendees saw the debut of vehicles like the 2017 Nissan Rogue and Sentra models and the 2017 Ford F-150 STX. Next: September 9-17, 2017

#3 Trade Show, Expo & Convention
Organizers rolled out a larger in-water display and more water taxi and shuttle options for the 100,000 visitors who flocked to Miami Marine Stadium Park & Basin overlooking Biscayne Bay. The show featured $3 billion worth of vessels, equipment, and supplies, including 550 boats in the show’s in-water display. Next: February 15-19, 2018

#4 Trade Show, Expo & Convention
Held twice a year in Fort Lauderdale and twice in Miami Beach, the sold-out shows bring together design-minded homeowners, vendors, and designers. The upcoming Fort Lauderdale show will feature an appearance from HGTV’s John Colaneri and Anthony Carrino. Next: May 26-29, 2017, Fort Lauderdale

Billed at the largest comic convention in South Florida, the show attracts 53,000 fans of comic books, sci-fi, and video games to the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale. Next: July 27-30, 2017

The renowned event always draws names from across the literary spectrum, from Joyce Carol Oates to Dave Barry, but for its 32rd annual fair last year, it upped the ante with an appearance by former Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. Next: November 12-19, 2017

7. The Original Miami Beach Antique Show

#8 Trade Show, Expo & Convention
With the Miami Beach Convention Center closed for renovations, the show moved to the Miami-Dade County Fair Expo Center, a location it will keep next year. Roughly 16,000 collectors, curators, designers, and other antique-lovers attend the event. With 600 vendors, it is billed as the largest indoor antique show in the country. Next: February 9-12, 2018

#9 Trade Show, Expo & Convention
The top cruise-industry event hosted 700 exhibitors and 11,000 attendees at this year’s show at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center. Organizers added an educational symposium on safety and security. Next: March 5-8, 2018

#10 Trade Show, Expo & Convention
Now in its 21st year, the show touts an international footprint among exhibitors and attendees, covering North, Central, and South America, along with the Caribbean. Last year’s show had more than 11,000 attendees and 427 exhibitors that took 45,000 square feet of exhibit space at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Next: September 25-26, 2017

#11 Trade Show, Expo & Convention
The trio of jewelry-industry shows attracts an international constituency of buyers and vendors. This year’s January and April shows took place in Fort Lauderdale instead of Miami Beach due to that city’s convention center renovation. This year’s January show debuted a new education component, JIS Talks. Next: Miami Beach, October 8-11, 2017; Fort Lauderdale, January 27-29, 2018

#12 Trade Show, Expo & Convention
Now in its sixth year, the show is returning to its original home at the Miami Airport Convention Center. Last year’s event at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center drew 8,700 fans of anime, animation, and cosplay. Next: October 6-8, 2017
