DALLAS/FORT WORTH: The Seamaster U.S. Open Table Tennis Championships will take place December 17-21 at the Fort Worth Convention Center.

LOS ANGELES: The sixth annual All-Star Chef Classic, presented by Lexus, will take place October 2-5 at L.A. Live. Participating chefs include Nyesha Arrington, Daniel Boulud, Yoonjin Hwang, and Gary Singh.

NEW ORLEANS: The fourth annual National Fried Chicken Festival will take place September 20-22 at Woldenberg Park. The event will feature more than 35 food vendors. 

NEW YORK: The National Retail Federation’s N.R.F. 2020: Retail’s Big Show will take place January 12-14 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. 

Piggyback N.Y.C., a restaurant from executive chef Leah Cohen and restaurant and designer Benjamin Byruch, will open in Chelsea in October. The restaurant, which will specialize in Asian-influenced cuisine, will hold around 80 people and have a private event space.

PHOENIX/SCOTTSDALE: The fifth annual Enchanted Pumpkin Garden will take place October 18-27 at the Carefree Desert Gardens in Carefree. The family-friendly event features pumpkin sculptures from Ray Villafane and his team at Villafane Studios. New this year, the event has partnered with the Arizona Giant Pumpkin Growers Association to host the Great Pumpkin Commonwealth Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off.

TORONTO: The Harris Institute will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a special event on November 28 at the Berkeley Church. Supporting the Unison Benevolent Fund and MusiCounts, the event will include the Harris Alumni Awards, a silent auction, and live music. 

WASHINGTON: Hilton has appointed Feisal Jaffer global lead of LXR Hotels & Resorts.
