CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE: The Read House hotel has appointed Andrea Richey director of sales.

LAS VEGAS: Intersect, a new music festival hosted by Amazon Web Services, will take place December 6-7 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. Headliners will include Foo Fighters, Kacey Musgraves, and Beck. 

LOS ANGELES: The Grammy Museum will launch City Sounds, a concert series highlighting local music, on October 25 at Clive Davis Theater. Concerts will feature several music acts from a specific neighborhood, beginning with Historic Filipinotown to coincide with Filipino History Month. 

The Paley Center for Media will host An Evening with How to Get Away with Murder on November 17. The event will screen an upcoming episode of the final season followed by a discussion with the cast and creative team.

NEW YORK: Burger & Lobster and the New York Comedy Club will be the New York Comedy Festival’s Official Comedy Brunch on November 9 at the Underground at Burger & Lobster Flatiron.

ST. PETERSBURG, FLORIDA: Savor St. Pete food and wine festival will take place November 2-3 in North Straub Park. 

WASHINGTON: Eater: “National steakhouse chain Del Frisco’s will close locations of Del Frisco’s Grille in downtown D.C. and North Bethesda this month, diminishing its presence in the market just weeks after billionaire sports and restaurant mogul Tilman Fertitta announced plans to acquire the brand.” 

The Washington Ballet’s Nutcracker Tea Party will take place December 8 at the Willard InterContinental Hotel. The event will be followed by a performance of The Nutcracker at Warner Theatre.
