COAST TO COAST: The Dodo has partnered with Airbnb to create 50 animal tourism experiences as part of Airbnb Experiences. Five experiences featuring animal stars from the website’s series are available now, including Cow Safari with Brianna and Winter in Wantage, New Jersey; Picnic with Pickles the Pig in the Bay Area; and Adventuring with Penni the Dog in Las Vegas. All experiences are available to book under the Airbnb Animal Experiences category on the home-sharing platform.

ATLANTA: AC Hotel Atlanta Airport Gateway will open in winter 2020 at the Gateway Center in College Park. The hotel will have 222 rooms, an AC Lounge, and the AC Kitchen serving European-inspired dishes.

DALLAS/FORT WORTH: The Sinclair, Autograph Collection hotel will open in downtown Fort Worth on October 31. The hotel will have 164 Deco pop-style rooms, and three food and beverage venues from D.R.G. Concepts opening in January 2020. 

LOS ANGELES: Pink will receive "The People's Champion of 2019" award at the E! People’s Choice Awards. The ceremony will broadcast live from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on November 10.

MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: John Legend will headline the third annual Taste of Sbe Miami, taking place November 8 at Delano South Beach. 

The Fort Lauderdale Home Design and Remodeling Show runs November 22-24 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center. 

NEW ORLEANS: The Kimpton Fontenot will open in early 2020. Located near the Central Business District and French Quarter, the hotel will have 202 rooms, a restaurant and bar, and a café. 

NEW YORK: Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research raised more than $3 million at the Angel Ball, which took place October 28 at Cipriani Wall Street.

SAN FRANCISCO: Ellide Smith is the new vice president of event operations at Streamlineevents, a full-service meeting and event management company in the Bay Area.

Hyatt Regency San Francisco has opened 15 new rooms offering panoramic views of the city. The rooms were designed by Looney & Associates. 

TORONTO: Ace Hotel will open its first property in Canada in 2020. Located in the Fashion District of Toronto, the 124-room hotel will have a 140-seat restaurant, a 70-seat lobby, and a rooftop bar. Zinc Developments will develop the hotel.
