US: Fontainebleau Las Vegas Announces Sales Team, Glow Events Launches Glow At Home, The Henri's Spring Menu, and More

GLOBAL: Marty Hotel Bordeaux, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is open in Bordeaux, France’s MĂ©riadeck District. As Hilton’s third European property debuting in 2023, the brand intends for the hotel to  connect guests to the area’s culture and charm. It features a large bar, 61 stripped-back guest rooms, and is located just minutes away from Saint-Jean train station. 

LAS VEGAS: Fontainebleau Las Vegas has announced its newly appointed sales leadership team. The group of veteran executives includes Kurt Wuebbenhorst, senior vice president of sales, catering, and convention services; Carmen M. Rubino Jr., vice president of sales; Erin Naeve, vice president of distribution and social sales; and Nicole Schmitz, director of sales.

SAN FRANCISCO: San Fran-based Glow Events has announced that it has launched its new event e-design business, Glow At Home. The new business was designed for clients who want to benefit from Glow’s event design expertise, but are comfortable handling logistics and planning details on their own. Ideal for smaller events, Glow’s designers will work with clients in a four-week program to create their unique event style. 

Nonprofit organization Roots & Branches Conservancy, which produces Sound Summit Music Festival, has announced that this year’s festival will take place on Sept. 9. Funds raised from the festival will directly benefit the restoration and maintenance of Mount Tamalpais State Park. Last year, $50,000 was granted to the park to restore one of its trails, Steep Ravine Trail. The festival’s lineup is expected to be announced soon. 

WASHINGTON, D.C.: The Henri unveiled its new spring menus this month. Expect modern twists on seasonal fare with updates to the restaurant’s lunch, dinner, bar bites, and pre-theatre menus for spring. New additions include mizuna salad with spring radish, yogurt crumble, pickled cucumber, and zucchini tartare; stuffed squid with ratatouille, balsamic granita, and herb salad; and fish and chips, featuring Allagash-battered Atlantic cod with pommes anna and tartar sauce.
