The property boasts 26 guest rooms and suites, a Mediterranean restaurant, a tapas restaurant, a comprehensive wellness program, and more.
DRUMMONDVILLE, QUE.: Travelodge Canada has opened its newest property, Travelodge by Wyndham Drummondville. The hotel boasts 106 guest rooms, an on-site restaurant and lounge, free on-site parking, meeting and banquet spaces, complimentary Wi-Fi, and more. The property sits close to the city’s scenic riverfront boardwalk, museum and restaurant scene, and other attractions.
ORILLIA, ONT.: Resorts of Ontario announced its new leader, Kerri King, following the retirement of current executive director Grace Sammut. King brings experience in economic development, hospitality, tourism, and arts and culture industries to the position, having previously served on boards and within organizations in the tourism sector in the Greater Toronto area.
TORONTO: Illuminarium, the global experiential entertainment company, will open new entertainment complex Illuminarium at The Distillery District on Aug. 25 with two experiences: "Space: A Journey to the Moon & Beyond" and "Waking Wonderland." In partnership with Toronto-based Secret Location, the 13,500-square-foot complex’s experiences will highlight Canada’s digital talent with these tech-driven experiences to create a virtual reality experience without the glasses.
