Lizbeth Sanchez likes to describe herself as persuasive. As special events director of global accounts at NotableEVENT Management Consulting, that’s a great trait to have. Among Sanchez’s most notable accomplishments is launching CELA, HBO Latin America’s corporate events logistics app in 2012. Sanchez, 40, tells us more about her career.
How I Got Here
With a foundation in hospitality at Wyndham Hotels, I crossed over to the corporate planning side of the business by managing and executing more than 200 events for world leaders in the media, technology and finance sectors across North and South America, the Caribbean, EMEA and APAC regions. My multifaceted background offered me the opportunity to open my own corporate international event management firm.
Impressive Stats
NotableEVENT Management negotiated more than $60,000 in savings on behalf of a media mogul client in November 2018.
What I Do Outside of Work
I enjoy meditating and am presently learning more about the teachings of Kabbalah and Abraham Hicks, a spiritual guide. I have been part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring program in the past, as well as donated my services to Dress For Success Miami chapter. I also like to give back to society and help out by volunteering to preserve our community parks.
Favorite Travel Hack
I recently learned about this cool application called Rome2rio. On my recent trip to Europe, I left my last leg of the trip to chance. however, this amazing app helped me go from point A to B by providing different flight, train or transportation methods by alerting me to times, prices and routes.
