Daniel Gallagher 26, National Sales Manager, Meet AC and Atlantic City Sports Commission Absecon, New Jersey A card magician since he was 9 years old, Gallagher is in the midst of his greatest trick yet. As national sales manager for Meet AC and the newly instated Atlantic City Sports Commission, he is helping meetings and events reappear nonstop in the destination that’s deemphasizing its storied gaming industry and pushing its event space instead. Atlantic City is proving it has a few cards left up its sleeve thanks to the work of Gallagher and the Meet AC team. The city will host MPI’s World Education Congress next year, the biggest of a slew of events it has won the rights to recently. The news is especially gratifying to Gallagher, who is a Jersey guy through and through. He knows the work is not done, though, and in 10 years hopes to look back and see that he did, in fact, have the magic touch for Atlantic City.
