How he got here: There aren’t many jobs at The Peabody Memphis that haven’t been held by Benson. Starting with the famed property 10 years ago as a guest service representative, Benson participated in the Plus Program (where he had a chance to serve as Duckmaster presiding over the famous Peabody ducks for a spell). He was soon promoted to an internal leadership position, and over the next decade became guest services manager, assistant front office manager, catering and convention service manager, and finally national sales manager.
Bragging rights: Benson has won the leader of the quarter award multiple times.
