How I got here: “I started my career with Marriott International after leaving my post with Disney Destinations. I spent the previous 11 years with Hyatt. I’ve held many roles in my 16 years in the industry, so my current promotion into the citywide executive role was a natural progression.”
Bragging rights: Starting in 2013, Peterson worked in a new role on “miniwides” in D.C., where he grew a new market from inception to generating $11 million annually in only two years.
