Rebecca DeLuca, CMP 31, Sales Executive, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority Chicago
DeLuca serves as a Las Vegas advocate from her office in Chicago. An internship at Cardinal Health led to a full-time position as a meeting planner after college. With a few years’ experience under her belt, she packed up and moved west to become a convention services manager at Mandalay Bay and later take on a national sales role at MGM Grand before moving to Las Vegas CVA where she now manages corporate accounts in the Midwest. With experience as a meeting planner, hotel leader and convention bureau executive, it’s no surprise she’s the director of education programs for her local MPI chapter. “She has only been in the Chicago area for two years,” says Joe Kissinger, CASE director of regional sales, “but is already seen as a standout in our industry.”
