L.A. Gets New Fashion Awards

The town that already hosts the Oscars and the Grammys is getting a new awards show this fall. The Los Angeles Fashion awards will be presented at the Orpheum Theater in downtown L.A. this October, Women’s Wear Daily reports. The date falls between Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios and the industry’s market week.
