With all those celebrities roaming the Golden Globes’ red carpet, a paper guest list hardly qualified as sufficient security. Los Angeles-based EventCredentials provided electronic ticketing and credentialing for the ceremony, working with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to manage seating arrangements and print the tickets, which had computer chips embedded inside with identification information. (The company has also provided services for other high-security events like the Clinton Global Initiative conference, the BET music awards, and the MTV movie awards.)
