As Just World International's special guests arrived at the Belle Herb Farm in West Palm Beach's exclusive equestrian community on January 23, they entered into Dazzle Creative Events Hawaiian paradise. Two side-by-side tents were transformed into a tropical oasis complete with tropical flowers, colorful leis, and the sounds of Hawaiian ukulele music for the nonprofits sixth annual fund-raising dinner during the Wellington equestrian season.
Totem poles, bamboo chairs and flatware, and tropical fruit centerpieces in the on tables gave the reception area an authentic Hawaiian vibe. Across the way, James Rota of Dazzle created floral arrangements embedded in coral to top each of the highboy tables in the cocktail and silent auction area. Frost Lighting lighted both tents in an array of tropical colors.
Hula and fire dancers performed during dinner along with Drums of Polynesia who also entertained during the evening. The three-course meal from Chez Gourmet Catering included a mixed green salad with mandarin oranges and vinaigrette, mahimahi topped with a sweet salsa and sautéed vegetables, and a selection of desserts.
Proceeds from the event will go towards the group's outreach programs in impoverished communities throughout South America and Asia.
