The iconic Hollywood Palladium will get back to business on October 15 after more than a year of renovations. Rapper Jay-Z and a 12-piece band are slated to perform at the ceremony. The 2,000-seat venue originally opened in 1940, and has hosted performers including Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, and Metallica in recent years.
Updates include improved interior lighting, the addition of a second story in the greenroom, a reworked stage infrastructure to accommodate large acts, plus a new dance floor, paint, and carpeting. The venue will hold 4,000 for receptions, and will showcase a fresh facade in a nod to the building’s original architecture,
