Registration is now open for the 2011 BizBash West Expo & Awards (formerly the BizBash L.A. Expo & Awards) at its new location at the Pasadena Convention Center.
More than 1,600 event and meeting professionals from the Western region of the U.S. will convene at this year’s show, which will feature an all-new design lab, education sessions from the Event Leadership Institute, and live catering and decor demonstrations on the trade show floor.
Keynote speakers include Hillary Harris, executive director for Warner Brothers Entertainment Group, and David Merrell, president and creative director of A.O.O. Events. In her presentation, "Shaping Inspiration From Pop Culture Into Winning Events," Harris will present ideas on how to translate pop culture happenings into event design. Later, Merrell will take attendees behind the scenes of his cutting-edge event design, from initial strategy to the final ovation.
