1. YAHOO AND LIVE NATION ANNOUNCE YEAR OF STREAMING CONCERTS: Beginning tonight with a Dave Matthews Band concert in Jacksonville, Florida, Yahoo and Live Nation will kick off 365 days of live-streamed concerts featuring artists such as Justin Timberlake, Usher, and Kiss. The New York Times: “If successful, the program will help establish Screen, Yahoo’s video site and competitor to YouTube. And for Live Nation, the world’s biggest concert promoter, and the rest of the music industry, it could create a franchise for online concerts, which have long been promoted as the next big thing, but, despite many attempts, have never quite caught on with consumers.” http://nyti.ms/1oDArxY

The fest is sponsoring a contest to win 10 passes to the golden-hued bathroom, along with 10 single-day tickets.
