1. Advertising Week New York

Upwards of 98,000 marketing, advertising, technology, and branding professionals gather during Advertising Week to take advantage of networking opportunities, attend world-class seminars and workshops, and hear from influential thought leaders. In 2019, the four-day agenda featured notable speakers including Trevor Noah, Tony Hawk, Serena Williams, and Questlove. 2. Clio Awards

In 2019, Andy Cohen hosted the 60th anniversary of the Clio Awards ceremony at the Manhattan Center. Burger King, McCann New York, and BBDO Worldwide were among the evening’s top honorees, and brands including Patagonia, Barbie, Microsoft, and Adidas were also recognized. The event included a performance by Lifetime Achievement Award winner Joan Jett, a tribute from Katie Couric to Music Impact Award winner Sheryl Crow, and appearances from the industry’s most widely recognized spokespeople. 3. Creative Week

Since 2006, the One Club for Creativity has hosted Creative Week, a multi-day gathering of 2,000 leaders in advertising, innovation, design, and creative thinking. With programming at a variety of venues throughout the city, the event features workshops, panel discussions, open houses, live entertainment, and award ceremonies. Next: May 12-15, 2020

4. Advertising Council’s Annual Public Service Award Dinner

The Advertising Council bestows its annual Public Service Award on a C.E.O. who embodies public service. Actress Ellie Kemper hosted the 1,500-guest dinner at the New York Hilton Midtown in 2019, an event that recognized Johnson & Johnson’s Alex Gorsky and generated $5.8 million to support the council’s social impact campaigns. The evening also included a performance from the Abyssinian Baptist Church choir. Next: December 3, 2020
