The Haas Building, located between Broadway and 7th Street downtown, opened its doors last week, after undergoing a multimillion dollar renovation funded by Broadway Exchange Building, LLC. The building now features 10 floors of lofts, a community center, a health center, and LoftSeven, a penthouse and rooftop used primarily as an event space.
LoftSeven is a bilevel private residence with each level featuring 8,000 square feet of open space. On the penthouse level, an LED lighting system allows for multiple possibilities, and a chef’s kitchen has a Viking range, Sub-Zero refrigerator, multiple ovens and dishwashers, and a service entrance.
The rooftop includes a 20-person Jacuzzi with privacy curtains, a smaller catering kitchen, surround sound, and a one-ton crane to allow planners to load in materials without the constraints of a service elevator. It also has unobstructed views of downtown L.A.
LoftSeven is available for full or partial buyout for events, as well as for film or video shoots.
Correction: This story has been changed to indicate the project was funded by Broadway Exchange Building LLC, not AP Consulting.
