Looking for a new venue to host your next event? Here are the most anticipated Las Vegas restaurants, corporate event venues, hotels, conference centers, and private and party rooms to open next year. These new and renovated Las Vegas venues can accommodate groups large or small for private and corporate events, conferences, meetings, weddings, business dinners, teambuilding activities, cocktail parties, and more.
1. Las Vegas Arena, a 20,000-seat multipurpose event center from AEG and MGM Resorts International, is slated to open in April with an opening show by the Killers. Located near the Strip, the 650,000-square-foot arena will host everything from concerts and award shows to N.B.A. and N.H.L. games. The venue will be designed to meet the LEED Gold certification standard and is expected to hold as many as 120 events per year.
2. Slated to open in January, the Beer Park by Budweiser at Paris Las Vegas is billed as the city's first rooftop bar and grill. Located on a 10,000-square-foot deck that overlooks the Strip, the space will feature picnic and high-top tables, a grassy lawn area, an outdoor grill, and more than 100 beers including 36 on tap that can be paired with American fare from the menu and roaming carts. The venue—which has a V.I.P. area for corporate outings and large parties—seats 200 in the dining room and 80 at a rectangular bar and in total holds as many as 500 people.
3. Wynn Las Vegas' new high-energy dance club, Intrigue, will open in the former Tryst Nightclub space in April. The revamped 14,000-square-foot space will include a new glass-enclosed patio, sound and lighting from John Lyons Systems, and a 1,200-square-foot club-within-a-club where social media is banned. Featuring contemporary party music combined with different genres, the space will hold as many as 1,200.
4. Life Nightclub at SLS Las Vegas will soon become the Foundry, a live performance venue. The 11,148-square-foot venue will feature a general admission standing room space, a new stage, and screens that will block bar sight lines from the stage. With shows booked by Live Nation, the venue will be able to hold nearly 1,800, including staff.
5. Clique, a new avant-garde lounge concept from Andy Masi's Clique Hospitality, will debut at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in January. The venue will offer seasonal cocktails and house-made mixers, along with a variety of shareable plates from chef Brian Massie. Designed by Alessandro Munge, the interior will include dark wood and posh touches to create a swanky look. The 2,800-square-foot space will seat 126.
6. Jewel, a new nightclub from the Hakkasan Group, is slated to open at Aria Resort & Casino in the spring. Replacing Haze Nightclub, the multilevel venue will include a main club with a mezzanine level that has five different suites with exclusive entry. The space's DJ booth will feature a production wall with dual-sided LED video screens and special effects lighting. The 24,000-square-foot space will hold about 1,925.
7. Caesars Palace will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2016, starting with the launch of the rebranded Julius Tower on January 1. The 587-room tower is undergoing a $75 million renovation and will feature modernized and upgraded rooms designed by KNA Design. The full renovation is slated to finish in April.
8. SLS Las Vegas has partnered with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide to become part of Starwood's Tribute Portfolio. As a result, one of the three SLS towers will be rebranded as the W Las Vegas. The 289-room hotel will feature its own style, amenities, and hospitality—including an outdoor pool and bar and a dedicated entry and reception area—with a renovation slated to finish in the third quarter of 2016.
9. Azumi Group's Japanese concept Zuma will open at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in late 2016. Inspired by informal izakaya dining style, the restaurant will offer modern, authentic Japanese cuisine from chef Rainer Becker, including lobster tempura and tuna tataki. The 9,000-square-foot space will be designed by Noriyoshi Muramatsu of Studio Glitt.
10. Food Network personality and chef Guy Fieri's second Las Vegas restaurant, El Burro Borracho (which translates as the Drunken Donkey), is slated to open in early 2016 at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. The restaurant will offer Mexican-inspired dishes with playful names such as Drunken Fish Tacos, Flaming Queso Fndida, and Acapulco Gold Salad.
