INK C.E.O. Charles Khabouth and Lifetime Developments are teaming up to build Bisha Hotel & Residences, a 41-storey hotel and condominium project in the entertainment district.
The pair unveiled the concept for the project being designed by Munge Leung with a multi-room display in the Space Concepts exhibit at the Interior Design Show, held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from Friday through Sunday.
Design Show attendees who toured the '20s-inspired space—which featured an entrance fashioned out of 13-foot wood doors, a marble fireplace flanked by purple and black sconces, an Art Deco-style cowhide rug, and a hand-blown glass ceiling fixture by Jeff Goodman—received a key with a code to register online to receive updates about the development and invitations to Bisha events.
Named after Khabouth’s childhood nickname, the hotel and condominium project will be located at 56 Blue Jays Way, home to the former Diesel Playhouse Theatre. The development will incorporate the original structure and will feature a 24-hour café, two restaurants, and a rooftop swimming pool.
Sales will begin this year with a showroom expected to open in June. The timeline for the project has not been finalized.
