With the holiday season coming up, these new and recently renovated venues are suitable go-to options for company festivities. The spaces, which include bars, lounges, nightclubs, restaurants, private rooms, and raw spaces, in Miami/South Florida can accommodate groups small and large for corporate holiday parties of every type.
Garden Room at Soyka

The MiMo area of Miami is filled with historical properties and structures, including the long-standing eatery situated in 55th Street Station. A newly refurbished Garden Room is a private venue available for holiday dinners and boasts vintage details in an close-knit setting. The 550-square-foot room can hold 65 seated or 100 standing for a cocktail party. A private entry point, a bar, and a buffet are included in the new private party layout.

Cooper Avenue

This new South Beach spot is located next door to the New World Symphony, and for the holiday season, private and semi-private events are welcome. The 1,220-square-foot venue is broken down into two different buyout options, including a 361-square-foot, 52-person bar and lounge, or a private dining room measuring 385 square feet for 32 guests. Included in both rentals is complimentary use of audiovisual equipment. Production company parties can enjoy a 15 percent discount.

Vizcaya

Located on Biscayne Bay, the magical oasis and historical Miami landmark recently completed a $2-million makeover with improvements such as a decadent skylight atop the property’s airy, 1,714-square-foot courtyard. Holiday evening rentals are available, though not on Thanksgiving or Christmas. The property is accessible for parties of 125.

Toro Toro at InterContinental Miami

A new addition to downtown Miami, the Pan Latin-themed, 110-seat restaurant opened in October. For holiday festivities, the 3,112-square-foot Toro Toro is not available for buyouts, but the eatery will cater events for up to 50 in the InterContinental lobby, lounge, or bar.

South Street

The quick-growing hot spot in the Design District has already enjoyed plenty of attention from celebrities and Miami Heat players for its chic interior and Philadelphia comfort food. Available for holiday buyouts upon request, the 3,600-square-foot resto-lounge includes two bars, 90 chairs, outdoor seating, three LCD TVs, and an in-house sound system to accommodate a DJ or live music. The upstairs lounge is an ideal setting for a private event for 30 guests.

Machiya Ramen Noodle House

A new Asian bistro located in midtown, Machiya Ramen Noodle House totals 4,100 square feet and seats 132. During the holiday season, companies and friends are welcome to host private events via buyout as long as the party matches the revenue generated by the restaurant on that given night. Semi-private event options are offered by the bar or outside on the 60-person patio.

Hyde at the AmericanAirlines Arena

The AmericanAirlines Arena upgrades this month with the official unveiling of a new upscale lounge available for buyouts on non-game days and event nights. The 2,500-square-foot property can host holiday parties of 250 while showcasing its gourmet culinary concept and progressive mixology.

Bdry Blow Dry Bar

Bdry, South Beach’s only blow-dry bar of its kind, will make itself available for holiday parties this season for friends or colleagues in search of a beauty-themed gathering for 30. There are 11 blow-dry stations and two make-up stations with treatments for both sexes. The 1,327-square-foot salon is available for buyout, and the welcome area is ideal for cocktails on arrival. Popular added elements including photo booths and catering are available for an additional cost.

The Mezzanine at Cafeina

Established in 2009, the artsy lounge is one of Wynwood’s most popular nightspots. A renovated 625-square-foot mezzanine offers a semi-private party space for after-hours holiday fun for 45 guests. Modeled after a 1920s speakeasy, the renovation is a fresh ambiance for regulars who frequent the space. Complementing the remodel is a new menu of specialty cocktails to pair with bite-sized hors d’oeuvres.

Alba at Sole on the Ocean

For a sunset fete overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the refurbished Sunny Isles eatery offers both new design elements and a new chef at its headquarters. The 6,000-square-foot restaurant can cater to small holiday dinners with its 16-person, semi-private chef’s table, featuring fresh fare by Miami’s renowned Ralph Pagano. Other buyout options include the space’s outdoor 120-seat balcony and two private dining rooms, the 100-seat Florida Room with city views, and the 80-seat Ocean Room.
