Here's a look at the best new Miami/South Florida restaurants, corporate event venues, hotels, conference centers, and private and party rooms to open this spring. These new and renovated Miami/South Florida venues can accommodate groups large or small for private and corporate events, conferences, meetings, weddings, business dinners, teambuilding activities, cocktail parties, and more.

The global nightlife concept Bagatelle—with locations in New York, Los Angeles, St. Tropez, St. Bart's, and São Paulo—has expanded to Miami. Bagatelle Miami Beach, which opens this month, has a central location on Collins Avenue and serves French fare from chef Matthieu Godard. Celano Design designed the space, which has indoor and outdoor seating for 144 guests.

Miami Beach boutique hotel Circa 39 finished a two-year renovation in December, debuting a revamped lobby, food and beverage outlets, guest rooms, and meeting space suited for small groups. The Think & Create meeting room, which measures 375 square feet, features ample natural light and direct access to the pool deck. It seats 30 guests theater-stye, 20 classroom-style, and 15 in a U-shape. The third-floor Meet & Retreat Suite, which measures 350 square feet, seats 15 guests classroom-style. Breakout spaces include the Courtyard Gardens restaurant and sun deck, where planers can hold cocktail parties or meals, as well as the restaurant Jules Kitchen and the new WunderBar rum bar.

After a $100,000 renovation to its outdoor space, Fifty Ultra Lounge at Viceroy Miami hotel reopened in January. The 50th-floor rooftop space, spread over 2,632 square feet, offers views of downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay and a number of amenities for events. The space has a full-service bar, an LED-paneled DJ booth, lounge seating, and natural elements such as trimmed hedges and a tree garden. The hotel also upgraded its V.I.P. area. The space seats 100 or holds 300 for receptions.

With a location in Brickell along the Miami River and 200 feet of dockage for boat parking, the restaurant American Social debuted in January. It's the second outpost for the comfort food concept, which originally opened on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. The spacious 260-seat venue has 6,500-square feet of interior space and 3,000 square feet of alfresco dining under a canopied terrace. Planners have two options for private events: a 12-person private dining room and the 50-seat Kennedy Lounge, which has an illuminated bar, floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the Miami River, and an electric fireplace.

Lique Miami, a North Miami Beach restaurant and lounge with Mediterranean-style cuisine, opened in December. Located along the Intracoastal Waterway, the venue has more than 1,000 feet of dockage for guests arriving by boat. The menu leans toward seafood and includes a raw bar and sushi. The space seats 220 with 60 in the dining room, 80 in the lounge, and 80 outside.

Meat Market Palm Beach, the second location of the South Beach steak house, opened in September. The 3,000-square-foot restaurant and lounge serves a variety of steaks, along with seafood and a crudo bar, in a dining room with vaulted ceilings, cream-colored terrazzo floors, and tufted banquettes. Brass link chain screens divide the spaces within the restaurant. The restaurant seats 135, and its lounge can be sectioned off for private events.

Tideline Ocean Resort & Spa, a Kimpton property, opened in December in Palm Beach. The oceanfront hotel, formerly the Omphoy Ocean Resort, has 134 guest rooms and 6,000 square feet of meeting space.

YVE Hotel Miami, a 243-room property in downtown Miami, has opened. The hotel has 1,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. It took over the former B2 Miami Hotel. The property has a partnership with Wynwood art gallery Art Bastion, which will curate installations at the hotel as well as offer art tours throughout the city.

Modern Garden, a hot stone and crudo lounge, opened in January adjacent to the restaurant Seaspice. The waterfront eatery has 56 seats and offers views of downtown and the Miami River. Along with Seaspice, it has 500 feet of dock space to accommodate groups arriving by boat.

The Coconut Grove event space the Loft on Bayshore opened in November. The space has a contemporary design and seats 150 or holds 300 guests for receptions. Thierry's Catering and Event Design is the venue's caterer.
