Keeping Summer Social with Neuman's Kitchen

Sharon Carter
April 5, 2016

It's no secret that New York City is a magical place, but nothing compares to Manhattan in the summertime. Rooftop parties, restaurant openings, and Central Park rendezvous mark the beginning of endless event planning possibilities. The hottest season of the year also means it's the prime time to offer engaging employee experiences to corporate clients.

The "summer Friday" concept is scientifically proven to be effective, boasting increased productivity and higher employee retention rates as major selling points. As leaders in the industry, Neuman's Kitchen chose to challenge the theory by creating its very own summer-centric programs for any day of the week. Check out the company’s new initiatives below:

Movie Night: What’s better than the traditional Friday night dinner and a movie? Neuman’s Kitchen offers a series of themed events that celebrate the team’s favorite films.

  • Movie Night Under the Stars

Close your eyes and imagine the smell of fresh air, stars shining above, and the crackling of wood in a roaring campfire. This event features a film screened under a projected solar system, just like your childhood camping days. The menu is made to enhance the viewing experience and includes bites like s'mores, potato chips with global salts, miniature pigs in a blanket, truffle grilled cheese, and crudité. Everything can be paired with locally sourced beer and wine

  • Julie & Julia’ Movie Night

Celebrate the art of cooking and cinema with your guests at this sensory experience. Guests will enjoy a menu created to emulate the dishes being cooked by Julia Childs throughout the movie. Similar cooking themed movies include: Babette's Feast, Big Night, Chef, and Ratatouille.

  • Breakfast at Tiffany's

If you haven't seen Breakfast at Tiffany's, we promise this iconic flick will make you fall in love with Manhattan all over again. Guests will be able to nibble on traditional movie snacks

Sips, Swirls & Skylines: Rooftop Parties:

Rosé season is here and its borderline mandatory to indulge on the nearest rooftop. Neuman’s Kitchen is partnering with venues like Midtown Loft & Terrace to craft unique culinary experiences overlooking the skyline. If rosé isn't your forte, check out one of these team-building alternatives:

  • Sangria making and tapas
  • Sushi pop making and sake pairings

  • Do-it-yourself ice cream using liquid nitrogen and spiked ice cream floats
  • Freshly pulled mozzarella bar with sustainable wine flights

Paint Your Palate

Paint Your Palate is an interactive display that will engage clients, co-workers, and friends by letting them take culinary matters into their own hands. Under the guidance of one of the chefs at Neuman’s Kitchen, guests have the opportunity to channel their inner Picasso while familiarizing themselves with innovative ingredients.

Customization is Neuman’s Kitchen’s mantra. Contact us to create a personalized menu for you and your clients. Email us at [email protected] to book your next event, or visit www.neumanskitchen.com.
