Formerly Pinot Hollywood, Eat on Sunset opened in January as the Patina Group’s newest restaurant, bar, and lounge. The restaurant features both indoor and outdoor dining, the latter on a patio. Inside, the decor features cool blue and gray tones accented with light woods and geometric shapes. The menu, by executive chef Gary Menes, features modern American cuisine like open-faced sandwiches with prosciutto, sunny-side-up eggs, and Chantal cheese; and Kurabota pork chops with black-eyed peas and buttermilk onion rings. Accessible through the restaurant or by its own entrance on Sunset Boulevard, the lounge offers small plates like glazed boneless chicken wings and seasonal oysters on the half shell. An expansive cocktail list includes eight variations on the mojito. Upholstered lounge furniture encourages relaxed seating. —Alesandra Dubin
