Add this to the already growing list of new promotions based on the popularity of the new president (and a bit of hometown pride): Windy City Connection just launched Obama's Kind of Town tour. The organized outing takes groups past such locales as the Obama family home in Hyde Park; the South Shore Cultural Center, where Michelle and Barack Obama were married; Sidley Austin law firm, where the couple met; the University of Chicago Law School, where the president taught; and Grant Park, the site of his victory celebration on election night. The tours cater to groups with 14 to 55 guests and start at $65 per person. Windy City Connection provides a motor coach or mini coach, depending on group size. Tours typically last five hours, though they can be shortened; pickup locations may include offices, homes, or event spaces in the city or suburbs.
