1. PRSA’s Silver Anvil Awards
The Public Relations Society of America honors the best in the industry each June; 2008 winners included Little Caesar Enterprises, Time Warner Cable, and MasterCard. The ceremony will return to the Equitable Center on June 4.
2. PR Week Awards
This industry publication’s 10th annual award ceremony will bring 1,000 guests to Tavern on the Green on March 5. GolinHarris and Nintendo America’s launch of the Wii was honored as PR campaign of the year in 2008.
3. PRSA New York Chapter’s Big Apple Awards
More than 300 PR and communications professionals gathered at the Rainbow Room in 2008 to honor the New York region’s best work of the year. New York Daily News publisher Mort Zuckerman delivered the keynote speech at the awards, which will return in May.
