With nearly 1,000 entries last year, BizBash is bringing back its Event Style Awards, a program to recognize the work of the event and meeting industry in the United States and Canada. Starting today, April 1, planners, producers, marketers, and other types of industry professionals are invited to submit their most innovative and effective work in award categories that include best conference, lighting, digital invitation, use of social media, staging and set design, and new venue.
This year BizBash is introducing the People's Choice section, and eight of the most popular award categories—including best decor, corporate event concept, and guerrilla campaign—will be open to a public vote. The industry will also be invited to nominate and vote for the most promising event or meeting professional in North America, who will be honored with the new Rising Star award.
All submissions close July 15. Voting for the People's Choice categories opens August 25 and ends September 30; all winners will be announced in October.
