How she spends her days: "A typical workday for me involves a lot of communication with my clients, assessing their needs for their programs. It’s my job to listen to what they’re wanting and collaborating with vendor partners to help make their vision come to life. In addition to event planning, I also spend a lot of time analyzing market trends and identifying new opportunities to stay ahead of the game for our clients!"
Impact she wants to have on the industry: "My goal is to make a positive impact on the industry by creating unique and memorable experiences for attendees. I strive to push boundaries and provide a higher level of service. The best part of an event is watching attendees interact, having a great time, and all smiles when they depart! The event is successful when I feel the weight is off of the client’s shoulders while we are there to provide solutions to any challenges."
Career goals: "In the next five years, I hope to continue to grow and expand my skills and knowledge in the industry and in life. I see myself taking on more leadership roles and continuing to work on large projects—the sky is the limit!"
Advice for her peers: "My advice for my peers is to always stay curious and open to learning. The industry is constantly evolving, and it's important to stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies. Embrace the changes, and be willing to take risks. Remember that every setback is an opportunity to learn and grow. Never lose sight of your passion for creating something unforgettable. With a positive attitude, you can achieve anything you set your mind to, so keep striving for excellence and never give up on your dreams! (And, most importantly, listen; listen more than you speak.)
How she spends her free time: "In my free time, I enjoy attending live music events, exploring new restaurants and bars, and traveling everywhere! I very much value my time with my family, friends, and fur babies. You can also catch me volunteering for local organizations like Austin Pets Alive, The Safe Alliance, and Lifeworks organization."
