St. Patrick’s Day parties can be so much more than shamrocks and leprechauns. The March 17 holiday is an opportunity for event producers, designers, and caterers to embrace green and gold event decor and rentals, creative cocktails, lush greenery and florals, and upscale takes on Irish catering classics. Steal these 21 festive ideas to add a stylish twist to your gatherings this weekend.

The cocktail includes Absolut Vodka mixed with a blended mix of tomatillos, yellow grape tomatoes, English cucumber, garlic, lime juice, Thai chile, cilantro, horseradish, green Tobasco sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.

Chef Andrea Correale, founder and C.E.O. of Elegant Affairs, has several elevated St. Patrick’s Day catering options available this year, including a corned beef taco made with Guinness, horseradish, mustard, and sour cream topped with corn and red onion. Correale suggests pairing it with Melon Ball Margarita Shots, which she makes with tequila, Midori, pineapple juice, and fresh lime wedges.
