COAST TO COAST: Canopy by Hilton will open five new properties over the next two years. Properties include Canopy by Hilton Washington D.C., Embassy Row, in late 2019; Canopy by Hilton Paris Trocadero in late 2020; Canopy by Hilton Bordeaux Chartrons in early 2021; Canopy by Hilton Portland Waterfront in Maine in spring 2021; and Canopy by Hilton Venice City Center in Italy in 2021. 

CHICAGO: The inaugural A.E.C. (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) BuildTech Conference & Expo will take place April 30-May 2 at Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont.

Marriott Marquis Chicago has named Daniel Egan director of sales and marketing and Steve Conklin director of group sales. 

LOS ANGELES: The third annual Urban Art Market: Los Feliz will take place June 2 on Hillhurst between Franklin and Finley. The outdoor marketplace, which showcases local and sustainable design, will feature more than 100 brands, as well as live music and food from restaurants in Los Feliz Village.

The XLive Esports Summit will take place June 25-27 at Hudson Loft.
