COAST TO COAST: Campari and Imbibe Magazine will hold the seventh annual Negroni Week June 24-30. Bars, restaurants, and retailers around the world will participate in the event, which raises funds for charitable initiatives. Campari has committed to contributing $75,000 in total to the participating U.S. Negroni Week charities, including City Harvest, God’s Love We Deliver, and James Beard Foundation.

CHICAGO: Hyatt House Chicago/West Loop-Fulton Market is now open. The property has 200 rooms and 1,498 square feet of meeting and event space. 

Chicago Marriott Schaumburg has begun a $22 million renovation, slated to complete in August. The renovation will include upgrades to the property’s 20,000 square feet of meeting space at the Great Room social space, which seats 300 guests. 

LAS VEGAS: The Neon Museum has appointed Bruce Spotleson vice president of fund and partner development. 

LOS ANGELES: Los Angeles Times will bring its culinary event the Taste to the Paramount Pictures Studios backlot August 30-September 1 and the Met in Costa Mesa October 18-19.

MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: Shooters Waterfront in Fort Lauderdale will hold live shows for its fifth annual Rock the Dock concert series July 20, August 31, and September 28. 

NEW YORK: The fifth annual Secret Summer, a farm-to-table cocktail festival, will take place August 4 at the Foundry in Long Island City. The event will serve cocktails from brands including the House of Suntory, Aperol, and Blue Point Brewery. The festival is produced by Tyler Hollinger of HighLife Productions, Andrew Maturana of Rapt Hospitality, and Allison Du Val of the Foundry.

Brooklyn Botanic Garden has announced that Scot Medbury, its president and chief executive officer since 2005, will leave to become director of the Quarryhill Botanical Garden in Sonoma County, California. Medbury will remain in his position through January 2020. 

Experiential firm We’re Magnetic has appointed Glenn Briffa chief financial officer and Stefanie Dang chief production officer. 

Event Marketing Partners has named Andy Herman vice president of sponsorships and events. 

Bagatelle has appointed Wilfried Bergerhausen corporate executive chef. Bergerhausen will oversee culinary innovation across Bagatelle’s 11 locations, including New York, Miami, St. Barth’s, London, and Dubai

PHOENIX/SCOTTSDALE: Arizona Diamondbacks Events & Entertainment has partnered with the Drone Racing League (D.R.L.) to bring a D.R.L. race to Chase Field on September 8. 

WASHINGTON: Shakespeare Theatre Company's Will on the Hill fund-raiser took place June 10. The event raised $479,000 for the company’s educational programs.
