LAS VEGAS: The World TeamTennis Playoffs took place August 2-3 at the Orleans Arena.

LOS ANGELES: The WE Day Special airs on ABC on August 29. The broadcast—sponsored by the Allstate Foundation, Walgreens, and Microsoft—includes clips from WE Day California, which took place at the Forum on April 25. The activism-focused event drew 16,000 high-school students and educators and was hosted by Neil Patrick Harris.

The 11th annual Los Angeles Haunted Hayride will run September 28-November 2 at Griffith Park. Produced by Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group, the event will have revamped attractions including a town square, a haunted house, and an open-air maze.

Moxy East Village is slated to open in September. The hotel will have 286 guest rooms and five food and drink concepts from the Tao Group, including a French-Mediterranean restaurant and a rooftop bar. 

Northwell Health’s Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research 14th annual summer concert raised more than $3.4 million for medical innovations. The event, which took place in July, was headlined by Usher and produced by Lawrence Scott Events.
