NASHVILLE: Goop Mrkt, the lifestyle brand’s pop-up shop, opened its first Nashville location on September 12. The pop-up, which has a communal lounge space, snacks, and Wi-Fi, is open through December 1.
NEW ORLEANS: The Higgins Hotel & Conference Center will open in the Arts and Warehouse District in November. The 230-room property is the first hotel from the National WWII Museum and the first Curio Collection by Hilton hotel in Louisiana. The eight-story hotel will have 14 meeting and event spaces.
NEW YORK: Greenpoint Earth (G.P.E.), a new initiative by Greenpoint Innovations, will host multiple events during Climate Week N.Y.C. On September 21, a mural by Danielle Mastrion and Lexi Bella will be unveiled to the public at the fourth annual Kingsland Wildflowers Festival; G.P.E. also will support the Greenpoint Parks 5K Run Around before the festival; and on September 27, the “V.I.P. Clean Cruise Climate Street Art Viewing Celebration” will take place, organized in partnership with Harbor Harvest and Clean Marine Energy.
Brooklyn's Museum of Food & Drink (Mofad) and Delmonico’s in Manhattan have partnered to hold an experiential dinner, Delmonico’s - Restaurant History Remixed, on September 24 at the restaurant. The event will offer contemporary reinterpretations of classic Delmonico’s dishes created by Delmonico’s executive chef Billy Oliva and Mofad executive chef Eric Kwan. The ticketed event is open to the public.
