ATLANTA: Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau has appointed Megan Wilkinson manager of convention services and Joseph Henry manager of technology.

BOSTON: Experiential marketing agency Access TCA has appointed Wendi Sabo vice president of marketing and communication. 

CHICAGO: CSI DMC has named Sean Thorndike director of business development in Chicago. The destination management company also named Nicole Rolstad senior account executive, based in Denver. 

LAS VEGAS: Station Casinos will hold its 10th annual Project Pink throughout October. The company-wide initiative, held during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, raises money for the Susan G. Komen Nevada and American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” campaign through a number of specials at the property’s restaurants, bars, bing rooms, spas and salons, and kid zones. 

LOS ANGELES: Acura has partnered with music media platform Genius to launch Precision Crafted Performances, a new music series, on September 26 at Mack Sennett Studios. The series will use real-time search trends on social media to curate two emerging artists for each concert, which will also head to New York, Atlanta, and Miami in the coming months. The Los Angeles kickoff event will feature artists Destiny Rogers and Olivia O’Brien.

MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: The 19th annual Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival, presented by Capital One, will take place February 19-23, 2020. The festival will have more than 100 events throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties, with proceeds benefiting the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Florida International University.
