MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: South Florida Business Journal: “Publicly traded entertainment promotion company Live Nation has acquired a majority stake in Groot Hospitality, owned by one of South Florida's biggest nightclub and restaurant owners. David Grutman, known for opening and operating LIV and Story nightclubs as well as multiple upscale restaurants, will remain the C.E.O. of Miami Beach-based Groot Hospitality, along with executives Chris Cuomo and Mo Garcia.”
Following Hurricane Irma, Postcard Inn Beach Resort & Marina in Islamorada has completed renovations to the Raw Bar restaurant and event space. The open-air space is now two stories and located 25 feet above the ocean.

SAN DIEGO: Fox 5: “Officials with SeaWorld Entertainment announced Monday they will open Sesame Place San Diego in spring 2021. It will be the first of its kind on the West Coast and the second Sesame Place in the country after a Philadelphia location that opened almost 40 years ago.”
