BOSTON: Bianca Dickey has been named catering sales manager of Loews Boston Hotel. Prior to this appointment, Dickey served as an events and sales manager at the Burlington Marriott Hotel.

CALGARY: Global Petroleum Show announced a new name and rebrand to Global Energy Show, reflecting the industry’s embrace of alternative sources. The show, set for June 9-11 at the BMO Centre, is expected to draw 50,000 attendees.

CHICAGO: Chicago-based hotel investment and management company Arbor Lodging Partners has acquired a 12-hotel portfolio. With this addition, Arbor Lodging Partners now manages 37 full-service and select-service hotels.

MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: Postcard Inn Beach Resort and Marina has finished a renovation to its 151 guest rooms and an addition of event space, bringing the property to 130,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor venues.

NEW YORK: New York Society of Association Executives has announced Stuart Ruff-Lyon, vice president of events and exhibitions at Risk and Insurance Management Society, as the Synergy Awards 2020 Meetings Professional of the Year Award winner. He will accept the inaugural award association’s Synergy Award Luncheon on May 13 at the Harvard Club.
